SRH awards scholarships for refugees from Ukraine

The SRH University of Applied Sciences in North Rhine-Westphalia is awarding scholarships for refugees from Ukraine for the winter semester 2022/2023.

SRH is also doing its part to help the people who have fled the war in Ukraine and has therefore now launched a scholarship program in addition to many donation and aid measures already started. At the SRH University of Applied Sciences in North Rhine-Westphalia in Hamm/Münster and at the SRH University of Applied Sciences campus in the Rhineland, five full scholarships each will be awarded to refugees from Ukraine as part of this measure for the winter semester of 2022.

"As part of our corporate social responsibility, we have decided to make our contribution to helping people from Ukraine with these full scholarships," said Rector Prof. Dr. Lars Meierling. "The scholarship is intended to help them receive a high-quality academic education without an NC in Germany, with maximum financial relief."

"There are, of course, a few formal regulations that have to be observed," added Prof. Dr. Arno Lammerts, who is responsible for the internationalization of the university, among other things. "Refugees from Ukraine who meet the admission requirements for the desired course of study can apply for the scholarship in a very straightforward manner. We want to give everyone a chance to receive one of the scholarships."

The university offers a total of more than 20 bachelor's and master's degree programs in logistics, business, social work, psychology and sustainability at its study sites. About one-third of the degree programs are also offered in English.
