Gain more time and shorten your studies

Don't miss your chance and get credit for your previous work

Perhaps you still have credit points from another study programme or have discovered subjects in our curriculum that you have already completed as part of your training? Then let us check your previous achievements and gain a little more time in your studies!

Shorten your study time by using your previous achievements

If you have already studied at another state-recognised higher education institution or university of cooperative education and would like to change higher education institutions, you can have recognised the credits you have already completed. If you attended a vocational college with a technical, economic or social science focus, this is also possible. With us, you have the opportunity to have achievements that you have already completed recognised and thus shorten your study time.

Please note that the application for recognition of examination achievements according to the framework study and examination regulations must be submitted before the start of your studies. If you have not yet started a study programme at our university, you must apply for recognition for the study programme of your choice via our homepage. You can also upload the required documents here. If you have already started your studies, you can also apply for recognition at the latest in your first semester at the SRH University of Applied Sciences in North Rhine-Westphalia at the Student Services.

What we need from you

  • Your final or interim report as well as an examination overview with grades (listing of your credit points)
  • A course overview of the courses you have taken with description (e.g. module handbook of your previous study programme or of your recognised degree).

We would be pleased if you could compare your completed modules with our modules beforehand. We will gladly send you our module handbook for this purpose. After you have submitted your application, we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Whether and to what extent recognition is possible, is always an individual decision made by the university administration or the departments.

The application for recognition is charged with a fee of 350 Euros, which must be paid immediately after submitting the application and regardless of the result.
